XP locked Phases is a big hit on Wild Growth EU/NA
I saw a stream that mentioned guilds starting up fake fresh on Wild Growth so I jumped in to see what's up.
So here is the deal...
On EU most guilds require :
- special names, like adding fr or mud to your character name
- you need to run special addons to provide a guild found experience (no auction house, no out of fake fresh guild trades)
- you must level lock at 25 for the current Phase 1 play and every week they move to the next Phase and the next level limit.
There are a HUGE number of people trying out EU, many NA people are paying for an EU sub and the population must have spiked by over 6000+ in just the first night.
On NA there are a few guilds doing Fake Fresh Phased play but they don't use the Guild found addons and they have varied Phase timelines, a couple guilds are doing Phases every 2 weeks and the guild I joined, Frozen in Time, is doing a slower timeline per Phase, with Phase 2 starting on July 18th.
NA isn't quite as busy as EU but still tons of players, with thousands of people and Phased guilds filling up and having to add a second guild to keep up with the demand.
I had been away on anniversary for so long I forgot how much fun SOD is ,especially when you are playing each Phase for a while and not just rushing to 60.
