Thinking of moving from SG to HK for Cyber Security is pay bump worth it?
Hi people,
I’m a security professional currently based in Singapore (Expat). I’ve been working here for the past four years and I love it here, which is making this a tough decision.
I’m weighing a potential opportunity in Hong Kong.
While it pays more than my current role, the difference being 25-30%. The primary advantage of staying in Singapore is that I could likely secure a similar or better pay bump if I just stay here another 3 years.

Is the pay increase worth the change in cost of living and work culture?
For those who loved Singapore, did Hong Kong offer a comparable experience?
