Issues with iPod Photo/colour
So I’ve had my iPod photo 2005 60gb model for years now. I’ve added the iflash solo and a 3000mah battery. It’s had so many problems with the Sandisk SD cards and now the PNY and Lexar card I’ve bought. It’ll copy 1-3 songs then say unable to copy, I try to sync it’ll do 1-2 more sometimes it’ll fail. Once the songs are synced it has no problem playing them from any card. But syncing takes forever with constant fails. Do we think it’s the iflash board, or maybe the hard disk cable, 30 pin connector? The cable is fine and I sync the same library to my mini 2nd gen with no issues. I’m using my PowerBook and I’ve tried on a MacBook and iMac same issues. Any recommendations would be appreciated but I’m tempted to get another used Photo/colour and swapping parts at this point but it’s my favourite gen iPod and I’d love to continue using it.
