passed in 2 weeks!

hi everyone!! i passed this evening after studying basically nonstop for 2 weeks!!

i took the 66 after the SIE and about 2 weeks ago ACTUALLY started studying for it. I used kaplan and after their textbook was saying “oh you remember this from the 7” and i hadnt taken it yet i got acheivable and liked their way a lot better!! that’s just me but it was a lot easier to do notes based on achievable and thats my learning style.

i would HIGHLY recommend watching the brutal exams 2 weeks out and right before, they helped immensely and there were guaranteed like 8 from them!!

i saw a lot of registration requirements, prospectus is heavy which i wasnt expecting, and joint accounts. 2 options but relatively basic. def know IRR and current ratio. most of the exam questions if you go through like how ken does in the brutal exam to knock out incorrect answers they become 10x easier.

so if you’re on a short time horizon its completely doable just know what works for you to remember, kaplans qbank is better but acheivable’s textbook is fantastic i cant recommend it highly enough (i used for the SIE as well!)

good luck to anyone taking it after me! onto the 7!

Exam Next Week

Hi everyone!! My exam is next tuesday, I’m doing alright on characteristics and recommendations , but really struggling with regulations. Does anyone have any advice to really hammer those down within the week?

I’m using Achievable and the Kaplan Q-Bank, I’m scoring in the mid 60s right now on practice exams for reference. My Achievable says my biggest problem right now is regulations (29/45 on my last practice exam).

If anyone has strategies to how they memorized these please let me know! Thank you!
