I’ve been looking around this area for apartments and was even looking at this building specifically, but wasn’t sure about the neighborhood. I know Hyde Park isn’t that bad, just nervous about walking home before or after work. Especially when it’s dark early in the morning or when it gets dark early in the winter. I’m looking to move to the downtown Chicago area, I’m currently based in western Missouri. I’m just a little unsure of where to look for apartments! Are there areas I should avoid? Any tips for finding good apartments? I understand the cost of living is MUCHHHH higher lol but I obviously don’t want to pay anything outrageous for an apartment. I also don’t need anything super fancy, just a studio if possible. Any tips are helpful 😋
