KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A routine inspection of portable restrooms at a World Cup-related site in Kansas City turned into an unusual rescue after firefighters freed a man who had become trapped inside a portable toilet’s waste tank while trying to recover a dropped Mountain Dew bottle, according to the restroom company that serviced the units, The Kansas City Star reported.
