Just finished the game, surpassed my expectations!
I haven't binged a game like this and risked my job since KCD2. I loved everything about this game, even the combat was fun enough for me to keep me engaged. ACT 3 wrapped up quickly which was perfect.
I ran Sword of grief and axes of rage the whole game using stun abilities from drone and relic. Loved using datapad all the time. Usually inventory systems piss me off.
Games like these give me hope for this industry still. The lore and especially the introduction hours of the game gave me similar vibes as Mindhunter andDark on Netflix. It could've easily went goofy with quests and dialogue but kept it consistent.
I loved completing all the mysteries and good deeds plus vaults. Although I did cheat a couple times on annoying long puzzles.
I look forward to their next game. Will be a day 1 buy hopefully rather than waiting for sale next time.
