I like PS Vinod’s work for sure. Loved Senthil’s work in RRR. Especially the lighting. Really curious to understand this choice for Varanasi. Could it be because of Imax composition? Being a creative myself, I tend to work with folks who I’m comfortable to work with. Makes the job easy and faster. Not always the choice of best in the craft.

For a project as big as this, want to understand this change in crew by SSR who otherwise sticks to same names. Hope the best comes out of all them and we get to see the magic of this new collab.

Hi all, sugamano? we are a group of 5 (men and women) planning a chill trip to Varkala from Hyderabad during the second week of September. Not able to nail down a place to stay. So seeking your guidance.

Budget: upto 10k per night

Duration: 4 nights

Vibe: This is going to be a chill trip. Not much on ticking the checklist. Just want to unwind, and have local food(not the cafes or generic restaurant food). Not much into partying either.

What kind of place: This has been tricky. We love having the full house to ourselves. South Goa (Benaughlim) has been our destination for 7 years now. This time, we are thinking of Varkala.

We like to stay near the beach but if the stay feels home/ private but is accessible by bikes, we don’t mind staying little further away from the beach or the town. We are going to hire bikes anyway.

Checked some places like Inda and Nebo but they’re unavailable for the dates. Are there any place you all swear by?

Have watched countless interviews of Keeravani over the years. It’s more than just giving the music. I’ve come to conclusion that he has a good instinct for storytelling. (Ideally everyone who does music for a film should have but anyway). He mentioned in multiple occasions that he often gives screenplay inputs. One such occasion was how he suggested RRR should start off with Story, Fire, Water and then Title card reveal structure. They also confirmed that they initially had other way of opening the movie. Also the idea of using ‘Why kattappa killed bahubali’ meme and making the word ‘why’ literally the music for Bahubali 2 main trailer. It’s actually a risk considering the theme and the stakes were.

Looking forward to see what he does Vaaranasi.
