Student admin headache.

Hey guys, i recently posted on this subreddit regarding how people managed their admin when they have a large number of students. I got dozens of responses (thank you guys). What i noticed was majority of tutors use multiple softwares and websites to function.

Now, people have also reached out to me pushing their software which bundles a lot of things together but they all seemed to have the same issues. Cost and gaps in features.

Now I’m a software developer by trade and tutor/mentor in my spare time. I know these softwares aren’t complicated to build and the maintenance cost does NOT justify the high subscription fees they’re pushing.

TL;DR
Im looking to build a platform completely FREE of charge. id like you guys to join me by sending me suggestions to help create a platform where you can actually manage majority if not all your needs in 1 place.

Why am i doing this? Firstly for myself and secondly because i could literally do it all in 1 weekend and actually have fun with it. Id appreciate any feedback on things you’d like for me to include and also if some of you guys would like to play about with the software once it’s up let me know! If i can help myself and genuinely help others that would be a great thing!

Hey, i wanted to understand what people are using to manage a large quantity of students? It can get quite messy with sending emails separately / taking pictures of notes/ doing up reports / tracking progress
