3.3 people sharing still from zero?

The RCs for 3.3.0 are out with better and improved people sharing.

From the release notes it's not clear for me, if you start from 0 with tagging people as in 3.2 or if you can now keep the already tagged people and just start sharing with other users?

Did anyone try that out or can the devs give some hints?

Immich 3.2 brings faces across users (partly)

Immich 3.2 RC was just released (https://github.com/immich-app/immich/releases/tag/v3.2.0-rc.1) and according to the release notes finally faces can be used across users.

It seems there are still some edges, but I'm glad to see this is finally addressed.

Unfortunately it seems you have to reset facial recognition to activate this, which is a bit of a bummer, because then you have to redo all faces and birthdays again.
