She fell asleep in my arms, tightly cuddling her furry nose against my chest. I kissed her head and whispered to her how much she was loved. She smelled like fresh hay until the very end.

Her battle with malo lasted for eight months, and she was such a strong little fighter. Eventually, it was just too much for her small body.
