I am a single 36F, considering moving back to NorCal, currently living in LA. What neighborhoods in Oakland are safe for a single female to live on their own?? Prefer a place to myself, with a budget of $2k-$2.5k. Thanks y’all!!
My mom, 64F is soon to begin chemo in two weeks. She was officially diagnosed in the beginning of July, and the Oncologist just confirmed on July 31st that it’s Stage 1B Pancreatic Cancer. She will do 3 months of chemo (6 rounds), then whipple surgery and then another 6 rounds of chemo after.
It’s been a long few months for me and my family. The frustrations we had, and the hoops we had to go through to finally get her prognosis was a journey it itself and I know that’s even half the battle of what’s yet to come.
We are glad to have caught this disease in the early stages.
Any advice for my mother and my family on this journey we are able to take? We are very nervous, and anxious and hope all these treatments work in her favor.
