Govt. to hike import duty on gold 🥺
Impact:
1.) Existing gold stackers may benefit as Indian gold prices could rise after the import duty hike.
2.) Regular buyers will now get fewer grams for the same money since coins, bars, and jewellery may become costlier.
3.)Indian gold may trade at a higher premium than global prices, making fresh accumulation slightly less efficient.
