I’ve been using DigitalOcean for over 10 years, but the cost is starting to feel hard to justify. I’m considering moving to another provider, though I don’t want to sacrifice reliability or consistent performance just to save money.

My current server costs $48/month and has 4 vCPUs, 8 GB RAM, and 160 GB SSD storage. It runs Ubuntu with CloudPanel, hosting several websites and a few self-hosted apps, n8n etc. I’m looking for an unmanaged VPS in Europe with full root access and 16GB ram

Hetzner, netcup, OVHcloud, and Contabo are on my radar, but I’m open to other suggestions. I am confused as of right now because, everyone seems complaining about their providers recently.

my priorities are uptime and overall speed.

I think maybe it is time to update, what do you think guys? Did you update openclaw to the newest version, which version are you using or recommending right now? Let's discuss.
