TCM Visit
I visited a TCM today. I presented to him all my symptoms and he told me that my heat is rising up which was a no brainer for me. I was asking for him to give me a more specific diagnosis like if anything is in stagnation or if something in my 五****脏 is off. He said im more or less balanced and that Im just heaty.
Here are my symptoms:
Dry mouth, swollen and tender tongue (to the point of pain), cheek biting, water retention face and body, sudden weight gain, sudden pimple break out, headaches
So yes these are really heat signs but I think I am just wondering if its really just heat cause shouldnt there be a root to the heat problem?
I’ve been to a really old and experienced tcm and he told me everything about my body in one diagnosis**：脾虚，**湿气很重 and something else about my liver. So I guess I was expecting such a diagnosis as well
Am I overthinking this? I think I was just excited to hear more about the diagnosis rather than just “youre heaty”
