Pepco cycling now
Does anyone know when this stupid event is scheduled going to end
I have a baby it’s too hot in our house and we cant override it
EDIT: I don’t want to contribute to negative attention for the pepco energy wise program. We have been in it for 5 years and it has made a minimal if not no impact on our lives. You get something like $8/mo off your bill and a free or low cost smart thermostat out of it and the knowledge that you are helping to prevent blackouts. And we set our a/c to 78 during the day and 73 at night in the summer so I think we are reasonable users of electricity for a/c purposes. I am just frustrated because I have a baby now and could feel the perspiration on them the past few nights and babies are not efficient at regulating their temperatures and we want to make a safe sleep environment. I think it should be easier to pause the energy wise program than it has been for us thus far. After one miserable night I called to opt out citing baby, waited on hold forever, they answered and said they unenrolled me yet it still cycled again the next night.
