What to do after a cruise. Help appreciated
So I'm staying in NYC in September then going on a cruise from cape liberty for a week then back to cape liberty. My flight leaves the day after my cruise, that leaves me an extra day. Need to be at JFK around 5pm the next day. I'm thinking to rent a car, and drive to the jfk area from cape liberty, go to the American shops like target, Walmart and maybe head to Long Island. Now idk if that's a stupid idea, I've looked up driving in the U.S and apparently it's a bit chaotic particularly NJ and NY. For reference I'm from the uk. Any tips or ideas on what to do would be appreciated. But I do like the idea of going to Walmart or similar and stocking up on American goods. Bear in mind we will have our luggage so having a car would make things easier, it just depends on how hard driving is.
