Athlon Helos 2-12 is a good match for the rifle. Little heavier than he probably would’ve liked. Waiting on my new can to get approved.
He would probably like a 9mm commander 2011 with 18+1 and a red dot tho.
So I have a YHM R9 coming in the next couple days. I have a 5/8x24 direct thread hub coming with it but I also have a rearden atlas/plan B hub I would like to use.
The plan B KAK A7 flash hider I bought is not threaded deep enough and will not sit flush against the sight block. It has about 1/8” gap… Which makes me wonder if I should use an accuwasher set up or if the sight block is even a good shoulder to use since it’s not actually the barrel shoulder? Would I be better off with a face mounted device? I have an alignment rod coming in tomorrow but I would like to get everything I need pretty quickly. I know I probably have some wiggle room with the 9mm bore can vs .308 but I don’t want any wonky issues.
Anyone in here running a suppressor on the Gunsite Scout that would care to share their experience?
