Received notice from CA DMV Issuance Unit about a "Fee Due jump date"
Hey everyone,
I got a letter in the mail from the DMV, Sacramento, and it’s a bit confusing. My license was expiry date was corrected recently and a new license was issued due to mistake by DMV.
Now I’ve got this notice.
The "Other" box is checked and it says:
"While reviewing your record, it was discovered that a Fee Due jump date had occurred during your No Fee license renewal... Your record was corrected to reflect the proper 2024 expiration and fee due year."
It also says I owe a $46.00 renewal fee and that I need to appear in person to surrender my current license.
Has anyone dealt with this "jump date" error?
Thanks for your help in advance!
