Made a control box for my multi room setup.
Raspberry Pi zero, Neokey 1x4 and a rotary encoder and I can now control my WiiM setup (a mini in the kitchen and a pro in the living room) physically. I like it.

If you want to try it out PM me your email address! There might be huge bugs as I’ve only tested it on my particular multiroom setup.
It also has a way to create highly customizable widgets directly from within the app.
I will never charge for this - but if this is still against the rule about self promotion, please just take it down.
So, I’ve been frustrated about the WiiM app. No shortcuts support and no widgets on iOS. Off course I’ve been using the API, but it’s a bit cumbersome.
Now I’ve started to vibe code an app that exposes the API to shortcuts and also has its own simple widget for doing multiroom setups quickly.
Maybe this already exists, I’m not sure. Let me know if that’s the case!
