Does this coffee table look too high / out of place?

I recently replaced my old black/glass coffee table with this travertine one, and now I’m not sure if I made the right choice 😅
The travertine feels a bit too high to me, and I’m also wondering if it’s too similar in color to the sofa/rug and therefore doesn’t give the room enough contrast.
I’ve included photos of both versions.
Which one do you prefer, and what would you change? Would you keep the travertine and somehow lower it, go back to the black/glass table, or choose something completely different?
Looking for honest opinions before I spend more money changing things 😂

I started filming my fishing sessions and cooking my catches

Hey guys, fellow fishing community

I recently started a new Instagram page called CatchandCookUae. The idea is pretty simple: I share POV videos from my fishing sessions around the Abu Dhabi mostly, then cook whatever I manage to catch.
I only started about 2 weeks ago, so I’m still very small (around 60 followers at the moment), and I’m trying to grow it organically by sharing content I genuinely enjoy making. I spend quite a bit of time filming, editing, and trying to make the videos as entertaining as possible.
If you’re interested and would like to support a fellow fisherman, I’d really appreciate it if you checked it out. Even just a follow or some feedback would mean a lot and would definitely motivate me to keep creating more.

Thanks guys Bless 🙏
