Still no carta

Who else is waiting on their carta still? I got assigned my region on Jul 23, but am becoming increasingly impatient waiting for my carta. I reached out to my region for an update but it’s just radio silence.

To create new account, or not?

Hi! I really want to get into UGC but not sure how to start. I have an existing TikTok page with almost 700 followers but tbh I think it’s kind of a fluke because I had 2 random videos go viral.

My page is mostly just about me and my random thoughts or trends. I don’t have a clear niche or theme.

So my question is, for those of you who started UGC after establishing a TT account, did you use your existing one or start a new one solely focused on UGC? I mean, do I even need to post UGC on my own accounts or can I just send deliverables straight to brands?

I dream about doing travel/lifestyle UGC but I think I’d be good at consumer goods as well. I’m good at talking to the camera but my style is not polished at all (though I’m willing to learn).

Curious your thoughts and thank you in advance!

Neighbor looking for part-time gigs!

I'm based in the neighborhood and am looking for some side gigs to make cash up until September. I can help with light house work (maybe you have a closet you need help organizing?), watching kids and helping with homework (experienced tutor and babysitter), and administrative tasks (do you need help organizing files on your computer?). I can handle some light physical work but most of my talents are in my brain :)

Thanks in advance and I appreciate any leads!

Do we have to select NALCAP for the visa appointment?

I’ve been trying with no success to book a visa appointment for the “NALCAP - stay longer than 180 days” option. Has anyone had success booking a “General Study Visa” appointment for NALCAP? Wondering if it really matters or if I just need to be patient. Thank you!

Visa appointment timeline

For the NALCAP first-timers: when are you planning to make your visa appointment?

I'm checking every day for an appointment in LA (with little success) but am not confident on when the appointment needs to happen. From what I understand, it has to be 2 months before the program start (so before September 1) - but based on past timelines, it seems incredibly unlikely we will receive our cartas before then, especially if all of Spain is effectively shut down in August.

Just curious to see what other folks are planning and if I am interpreting the timeline accurately.
