Great hack for baseboards on a transition
So mad I just came across this reel. I posted about this a month ago, and ended up going with a different idea. But this is way better!

If there was a pause button on the wheel!
Hopefully you guys tell me I’m an idiot and it is on the wheel

Turning it down manually while my kids interrupt my favorite song is driving me nuts
This is how you turn off that feature that shuts your engine down at stops. I just bought a ridgeline the other day, and was having a mild panic attack at how absolutely annoying that feature was. And then I looked up how to turn it off and I was like oh, that was easy.
I actually bought a car a pinch out my price range because of Oliver’s untimely death.
Damn you OLIVER! How TF am I gonna afford this now!?
Putting new flooring in. It’s pretty awkward and the people before just ran it into that uneven concrete and it looked terrible and moved around under our feet. I need to leave a 3/8 gap for expansion so I need something that comes down 3 inches and hides that gap, which I can’t seem to find.
What would you guys do in this situation?
Because of my dogs, I’ve been ripping up all the carpet. I’ve had success in refinishing all the hardwood flooring under it. It looks great. But for these stairs, I’m stuck on what to do.
If you were in this situation, how would you go about it? If you think the best option is just to buy new flooring, you can say that too.
