Something that helped when I was feeling stuck

I’ve been following Abraham Hicks for some time now. Sometimes the teachings just flow, and everything feels easy to understand and apply. Other times, I find myself getting stuck in trying so hard to “practice” the teachings that I actually end up feeling more bogged down.

I know the teachings work because I’ve experienced great success with them. But when something doesn’t seem to work, I often start wondering what I’m doing wrong.

Today, I was feeling a bit down because of some thoughts around comparison. I knew the feeling wasn’t helping me, but I couldn’t seem to stop it, and I ended up going down a bit of a rabbit hole. I also couldn’t figure out what “exercise” I was supposed to do to get myself out of that state.

Then I came across a video that helped something click for me: when you’re in a really negative place, exercises like a focus wheel or a rampage of appreciation may simply be too big a jump. The first step is just to move from negative to neutral, or even from negative to slightly less negative.

What worked for me today was:

Negative → Neutral: 10 minutes of meditation

Negative → Better: Finding just one better-feeling thought

And honestly, I found myself in a much better state afterward.

I thought I’d share this in case anyone else has those moments where they know they want to feel better but don’t know which process to reach for.

Following the energy

I have been following AH for a long time and I have finally started to see the importance of being in the vortex.

I have started to understand what it means to be in the vortex and tuning yourself to positive vibration. And how just aligning yourself means attracting more good things into your experience just by being there!

I have started noticing the good things, good thoughts and the good energies I come across when I’m in the vortex and how more seems possible.

So much yet to learn but things are improving!
