The new 3.8 version came with extensive improvements to floating panes.

Floating panes are a new feature and said to replace the native popup windows as of version 3.9.

As the author of the tmux-tpad plugin, my workflows are heavily relying on popups. There is a clear use case for both floating windows and popups, but they are not interchangeable.

Partly posting this to let you all know about this pretty cool new feature, but also to hear what you would use this for. I would be bummed to see the popups be replaced with floating windows, the way it's currently implemented.

I recently got a new router (GL.iNet MT6000), and ever since I connected my bulbs to the new router, they lose connection the moment the router reboots. I need to hard reset and add the bulbs each time to get them connected again.

None of my other IoT devices have this issue (multiple bulbs and switches).

Any clue what this could be? I did not have this issue with my previous GL.iNet router (B3000).

EDIT: correction - I can control the lights when I connect my phone to the IoT network (different VLAN), but not from my main network. Shouldn't the lights be accessible without having to be on the same network?! This was always working fine before

EDIT2: I got it working after connecting the bulbs to the cloud. Is that a new option?
