Steiff Oswald

Steiff Oswald

100th anniversary edition. Not cheap, but kind of cool (I am not connected with Steif in any way - I Wish I was!)

Do people really leave their house w/o ID or wallet? If so.. how does that work for you?

Saw this on another post- man took his child to a kid-friendly play/gym business without his wallet, ID, or phone. And I know when you go out with friends and they "forgot their wallet," they are just trying not to pay, but do grown people legitimately leave their house to go out in public without any money or ID? In this modern world where everything costs money, how do you get by?

I just find it difficult to believe people actually do this and are not just lying because they don't want to pay.

to add: And I know, in the USA, you don't "have to " show your ID, but come on, every other place these days seems to ask for ID.

EDIT to add: taking your phone with an app/wallet is, in my mind, the same as taking your wallet- that is, you can pay for things....
