I moved into an appartment here in jena today and I was told I need to sign up with an electricity provider, everyone I ask is just signed up to stadtwerk cause it's easier, but all the advice online sais to stay away from public providers since they're more expensive but I couldn't decide on what to choose and if they're actually cheaper.

Any and all advice is welcome thanks. Also if anyone can recommend an internet provider that would be amazing too.
