6 in all, big dirty boy seems to be their leader. He’s always dusty.
As above, thinking about rehoming my cacs and going travelling and I’m unsure how best to value it and/or sell them.
I have something in the order of 30 grafted and rooted tbm’s and easily 15m of assorted bridge and Pedro, mostly noid bridge from a 6 yr old potted stand and a few meters of fool’s breath. I have -I think, at least three noticeably different phenotypes of tbm (pictures) with the baby balls one also throwing out a variegated graft.
I also have 2x2m tall psychotria in pots( 2 different varieties) and 4x caapi’s (also 2 varieties) included. Interested in people’s experiences with shifting collections, do people actually lump out for the whole lot or is breaking it up inevitable? What metric do I use for pricing?
I stopped counting tbm nodes at 400 and I had a handful of rooted pots left. They range in size from the size of my thumb to the size of my forearm. Do people appreciate specimen value? Pic 4 is 2 varieties grafted onto a 6 year old Pedro with a root ball the size of a Nissan micra. I also have a couple of other “variety pack” grafts.
I have a number in mind but keen to see what people think from what you can see.
*looks scaly, but it’s humidity damage
*if I do decide to auction I’ll let you guys know
