Course selection help
Hello Reddit (*^▽^*) I'm an incoming freshman at IRSC, so this is my first time signing up for classes. I'm getting my A.A degree with a focus on political science.
My goal is to take 4 - 5 core classes, like your basic introductory English, math and history. I also wanted to take an elective course or maybe the required government class.
Anyway, the point is I tried to select what I THOUGHT were intro math and English courses but when I tried to submit for registration it said I had to take a test or get advisor approval.
So my questions are:
- What courses should I pick out for this semester? Like what are the basic "everybody has to take them for their degree" classes? I was originally trying to enroll in Enc 1101 and Mat 1033
2. If you graduated from a FL public school, do you actually have to take placement tests to enroll in these courses?
I'd greatly appreciate any advice (ToT) also yes I've emailed by advisor lol
