can i achieve this colour somehow?

i’m looking to dye my 100% cotton beige cargo shorts to this faded gray green/desaturated olive drab. any advice would be much appreciated, should i only add say half the dye (olive green) than recommended to achieve this faded look?

i’ve never seen or heard him wear alyx before, but i’m pretty sure it must be “i throw on that 1017” not “in” would you agree?
