Is the new The Safest Place single a reflection on CATB?

Pink Cloud Syndrome is a belter either way. The lyrics gave me pause for thought. Could be reflections on the rock n roll touring lifestyle in general or is it something deeper?

‘Longshot’ and ‘better enemies than friends’ and ‘ran off with everything I own’ and ‘one more season’ and picking at scabs? Interesting

For me I think the way Homesick has that ambient fade-in and builds from Van to the full band just pushes it ahead for me. Longshot is very close second, followed by 7.
