Tracked my rep velocity (VBT)
Velocity based training has been a super improvement in my training.
Maybe I’m not increasing the weight, but if I move the same weight faster, that’s progress.

80% = 140kg
90% = 150kg
95% = 160kg
Does anyone track the velocity of the rep when training ? I found that since i track the speed of the reps i train more precisily
From a few months ago I have been using velocity based training and has really improved my training, it prevent me from doing extra reps when too much fatigue is accumulated that makes those reps dont help to improve my strenght, when you loose aprox 20% of the velocity you should stop cause the fatigue you has accumulated makes you stop training strenght and train over-fatigue. it also makes my trains more precise and prevent injuries.
but i dont see many people using this kinda of training so i would like to know why ?
my coach that prepares people to compite in elite categories uses it a lot and he was the one that recommend me this type of training.
Hi everyone, I've an IOS app already working for a few months in the app store, now im releasing the mvp to the play store. I already have 6 testers and missing 6 more as you know.
The app is a fitness app, it help you track your bar path, train velocity based training, track your jump heights. if anyone is interested, let me know, thanks a lot !!
I've been training strenght (and improving) for few years now and just now I found our about velocity based training (VBT) and I think is super useful to improve strenght, prevent injuries and lastly train the strenght with more precition, but I dont see many people doint it so I wanted to know if there is a reason or is just people doesnt know about it.
Thanks !
