Cozy books with physical disabilities
Hi friends, I’ve done a very big swan dive into the hug that is this genre, and now I’m trying to find books specifically with physically disabled characters. I’m a congenital (missing from birth) amputee without arms below both elbows, and I deal with chronic pain and disabilities in my legs, so this is near and dear to my heart. I’m looking for books with characters, preferably the protagonist or love interest, with any kind of physical disabilities. Thanks in advance!
Already on my TBR list:
- Cursed Cocktails by S. L. Rowland
- Sanctuary by Andi C. Buchanan
- Midlife Bed and Broomstick by Jennifer Hart
Already read (although not technically cozy):
- Fortune Favors the Dead by Stephen Spotswood (SO good, light mystery, I’m working my way through the series and it’s delightful)
- Dawnshard by Brandon Sanderson (it’s been a while but I remember it being hands down (haha) the best depiction of disability I’ve ever read)
