So happy this morning
I haven't been 12stone something in over 25 years, so I was so happy when I stepped on the scale this morning and it said 12st 13.6lb. I know it is only just and may go back up again. But for now, I am taking this as a win

I have been on 2.5mg for 13 weeks, very little side effects, really strong suppression and no food noise. I took my last injection on Monday, this was a day late as I had been on holiday, but the last couple of days I have been so hungry, still no food noise, just physical hunger, which is odd for me as my over eating is due to food noise, i dont usually feel hungry. So I am wondering if I would be ok to inject again today. I know it might be time to move up, but i have a full 2.5 pen in the fridge and one with 2 doses so need to use this before going up.
So i jabbed 3 days late this week due to being out of the country and not wanting to take the pen with me. Suppression was still there whilst I was away, even after the 7 days. I jabbed yesterday tea time and today my suppression is higher than ever. I am eating as I know I need to, but it is really hard to, and I feel so full after the smallest amount. I started in April and I am still only on 2.5mg, I consider myself very luckily that the starter dose works so well for me, but I can't understand why the suppression seems to have got even stronger. Has anyone else experienced this? I am now wondering if I should go longer between jabs as a rule of thumb for me.
It is mine and hubby's wedding anniversary today, we have been out for a meal. I had a cannelloni, ate about 2 thirds of it and a slice of garlic bread. Also had a couple of glasses of prossecco. My head is telling me that i will wake up tomorrow to find i have regained all my weight. I know that this is an irrational thought, but i almost feel like I have replaced a food addiction with a weight loss addiction 😳
I say kind of as the information came from scales but I am looking at the other data besides weight.

I went back to the gym today after a couple of weeks break. A couple of months ago I used the body competition scales and got a score of 26 out of 100, i thought I would check in today and see if there is any change. I got a score of 48 out of a hundred.

Skeletal muscle mass has gone up by 3.5% and from fair to good

Body water up 4% from fair to normal

Body fat mass down by 5.6% from poor to fair

Soft lean mass up by 5.3% from fair to normal.

It is nice to know that my weight loss so far is predominantly fat loss. It made me feel like I am achieving so much more than weight loss.
Morning everyone. I initially lost weight on my own, I am 5ft 10 and started at 17stone 1pound, I got down to just under 15stone on my own, it took me about 18 months but I was happy with that. But this year, i lost control and my weight started to fluctuate. I got to 15st 1 then decided to try MJ to help me get cobtrol back, i have been on it 8 weeks now, only on 2.5 as it works for me, i dont intend to go up as it takes the edge off for me, helping me to restore good habits. So this morning, the scales said 13st 13, i haven't been in the 13st bracket in about 10 years. My first though was, right I am never getting on the scales again, i know my weight will fluctuate and I may very well move back into the 14 bracket now and again, but i am now dreading the potential of seeing that number again. I know i am being silly, but wondered if anyone else had felt like that
Has anyone taken a break with no issues, I am new to this, I took my 4th dose of 2.5mg last Thursday and feeling quite nauseous today. I am going away next Saturday for 1 week on a cruise, I am a little concerned that I may get sea sick, will be taking motion sickness tablets with me just in case, but I am considering missing next weeks infection then just picking it back up on the Saturday that I get back.
Hello all, I am new to the group, I just started Mounjaro recently, I am on my second week amd looking forward to seeing my results. I already lost 2.5st on my own, but I came to a standstill and started losing control, resulting in a few pounds going back on, I decided to use MJ as a tool to try to regain control. So far so good.
I am a chocoholic, and as soon as I have a small piece, I then cant stop. However, it was my birthday this week and various family members have bought me chocolates (4 boxes) none of them know that I am on MJ. What has surprised me is the fact that I have no desire to eat even one chocolate. Normally I would have devoured at least 1 full box by now, but I cant even bring myself to eat 1 tiny chocolate. I'm not complaining as it is one of my biggest downfalls, just in hindsight perhaps I should have asked people not to buy me chocolates.
