How many of you also provide courses? & How’s that working out?

I see Many coaches provide courses as a supplementary, “taster” or a way to scale. Curious to know if this has been worming out for your coaching practice?

Whats in your Activity Library?

When designing a learning programme or course, which exercises or activities do you find you always use because they easily align with learning objectives or final assessments?

Who hosts the learning experience when working as an independent consultant

Noob question, but let’s say you work for a small business and they want an e-learning experience designed. Who takes care of the LMS hosting? If it’s included in the service price, does the designer choose the LMS and set it up for them? Or is the designer chosen a finished product and handed over to the client to upload and host?

I’m new to L&D. I come from a UX and Graphic Design background so all my career mastered design and facilitation tools. I’m transitioning into Learning and Design and see that many employers look for some LMS knowledge for elearning, with big apps Articulate being most demanded.
Problem is Articulate doesnt have a long enough free trial period to learn it by building something (unless 30 days is really enough)
Anyway I’m trying to find an lms that is well known enough and has tutorials that would help me build my own projects to showcase learning design and development skills.
Am I missing something here?
Any suggestions?
