Did Ciel was the one who actually summoned Sebastian ?
I really don’t think it was (let’s call him Bochan) who summoned Sebastian in the first place.
Go back to chapter 137.
At first I thought Sebastian had been summoned by accident as the story seems to imply
But lately, I’ve started thinking that it was actually rCiel who summoned him, just before he was stabbed.
As Sebastian said: “No human can summon one of us unless they have prepared to exchange their soul for their wishes.”
So, what if Ciel summoned a demon and cursed this world just before he died? And when that demon appeared, Bochan was the only one left there to make a contract with him.
We can also see that Sebastian was looking for the person who had summoned him when he appeared, and he was “pretty sure” it was Bochan who had actually killed his brother in order to summon him.
But we know that wasn’t true.
