Context: Recently made Matsuda a vassal clan (2 times) in the buffer zone between me and Kikkiwawa...

They were at war with both parties before.

First time, they became a vassal, they were immediately at war with Kikki.

Second time, they weren't. They refused to join the war and i made a threat. Still refused

Is that reason why this -ve trait appeared?

A nice balanced and satisfactory battle in the recent times!

Their ronins were oddly brutal against my Katana and missile units.

Had to use Naginata's in the flanks due to their cavalry, which made the difference..

Late game - pretty much all done and then this stack shows up from nowhere !
