Once again I have come to you to share the slithery gospel of our friend the Western Ratsnake.
This is a harmless, though often large, snake that is common both in the woods and right in the middle of the city. If you move here, you will see one. If you don’t see one you aren’t paying attention.
This is good news. Because these guys eat a lot of rats, and while rats carry things like hanta virus and other rodent borne diseases, snakes do not. In fact they are remarkably clean animals.
So please familiarize yourself with our friend here and don’t freak out if you see him up in a tree eating a giant rat. Here’s here to help you. 🐍
