Same seat – up to 22% price difference?

This is just an example I just came about:

I compared the same ticket for a random Matilda show in a few weeks (13 Sep 2026, 2pm), Stalls K18/K19. All checked within about 10 minutes on the website/app.

LW Theatres (official) — £125
Stagedoor — £125
Official London Theatre — £128
TheatreMonkey — £149
SeatPlan — £149
Gigantic — £152
WestEnd.com — £152
TheatreNinja — £152

So £125–£152 for basically the same seat – a £27 / 21.6% difference.
On other days I checked: even greater gaps, especially when some websites add „early booking“ or other special rates.

All a little confusing and time consuming. So I turn to this community.

What’s your go-to method for buying West End tickets? Do you just check a few sites manually?
Is there a reliable price comparison site that actually compares the same seats across different sellers? Any sites I’m missing?

Edit: Just to clarify: I’ve also seen it work the other way around. For shows like Wicked or Titanique, I’ve sometimes found the exact same or comparable seats significantly cheaper through third-party sellers than on the official site.
So my point isn’t simply that resellers add fees. Sometimes they’re actually the cheapest option, which is exactly why I’m looking for a good way to compare prices across different sellers.

So viel Schoko!

Schon ein bisschen her, aber ich erinnere mich noch genau an das Zerplatzen der Vorfreude.
