Any Indians here with Crohn’s?

Hi, just wanted to know if there are any Indians here who have Crohn’s.

I’ve been wondering how other people in India are managing it because honestly, sometimes I feel like there isn’t much awareness about Crohn’s here, even among doctors.

What treatment are you guys on? Are you taking biologics or managing it with other medicines? And how has your experience been with gastroenterologists in India?

Also, I’m curious about the family side of things. Do your parents, friends, relatives actually understand and support you, or do you have to explain your condition to them all the time? How do you manage college/work along with Crohn’s?

Would really like to hear from other Indians about their experiences, especially if you’ve been dealing with Crohn’s for a long time.

MSc Botany student: Should I prepare for UGC NET Environmental Science or CSIR NET Life Science? Which is easier to qualify?

Hi everyone,

I have recently taken admission to an MSc in Botany, and I'm planning to prepare for NET alongside my master's. However, I'm confused about which exam would be a better choice:

UGC NET Environmental Science

CSIR NET Life Science.

I would really appreciate your guidance on:

Which exam is generally easier to qualify?

Which has a broader or more manageable syllabus?

Which usually has a lower cutoff or better success rate?

As an MSc Botany student, which exam would you recommend and why?

If anyone has prepared for either exam, could you please share your experience and preparation strategy?

I'm looking for honest advice before I start preparing seriously.

Thank you in advance!

Has anyone here with crohn's have happy relationship and supportive partner?

I am 24 year old female with Crohn’s and honestly I have never been in a relationship because I was always scared someone would leave me because of my disease.

The flare ups abscesses and all the unpredictable parts of this illness make me feel like I would be too much for someone to handle long term

Lately I have been feeling really lonely and scared that maybe I will never actually find someone understanding and supportive.

I just wanted to ask if anyone here found a happy loving relationship despite having Crohn’s because I really need some hope right now.

I honestly did not expect so many kind replies Thank you everyone for sharing your stories and experiences with me It genuinely made me feel less alone and a lot more hopeful. I was feeling really scared and lonely when I made this post but reading all your comments comforted me so much. I truly wish all of you happiness peace love and good health and I hope life becomes gentler for all of us dealing with Crohn’s.
