New Tefal Secure 5 Neo pressure cooker lid grinds/scratches when closing — normal or defect? The dust/powder in the end is from inside the washer, maybe to keep it good. Will wash and test it.
Hello all, I recently bought a Weber Traveler grill, after watching tons of review video's online and liking it. After using it one time, then wanting to pack it away, I tought the grill lid would lock in place and a separate lock hinge (the red) would engage by itself at least into the hole. I did not know that the red lock hinge is the reason the lid black lock is locked. So the hinge did not engage, and I lifted it to standing position and the two heavy grills slided down after the lid opened and it damaged the emerald paint, chipped it off on both the bottom and top lids, and also on the side of the heavy grills itself to the point it is silver inside.
I have contacted Weber over email 3 times now over the past weeks, and also the seller Bauhaus.at, and none of them reply to my inquiry about this.
In my opinion the red hinge not falling into place by itself (before pushing it into the "click", is because the weber grill does not go down all the way as you can see in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFBIwUXbWK8
Does anybody else have experience with this traveler model? All video reviews online show it does fall into the hole by itself.
