New Senville Install - Whistle noise - Not cooling anymore
I installed most everything, but had an HVAC tech come and install the line set, do vacuuming of the lines, pressure test with nitrogen, released the refrigerant and it was working great for a couple days last week (40 degree air blowing). I left for 5 days and came back to the unit not blowing cold air any more, just room temperature. It was not ran while I was gone. It also makes a whistling noise for like 10 seconds on startup/shut down and also while it's running occasionally. This is a Senville Aura 33k unit installed in my garage with a 9 ft line set. I have power cycled it, checked for leaks and checked the filters. No error code either. The guy that installed it said he'll come back out and check it on Wednesday next week. I can hear the noise audibly outside as well.
My guess is perhaps a refrigerant leak? At the outdoor unit when it's running, the small pipe is cold and the big pipe is warm (outdoor temp). When I'm setting the temp, I set it below 65, cool, and fan on max.
