As a neutral, OKC v SAS is absolute cinema and the refs have been fantastic.

The game has been fast paced, no ticky tack fouls, only 1 review which was quick and called correctly, fair calls each way.

Wemby is showing out, Caruso is having a crazy game, two incredible defenses.

Just such good basketball.

Can Hannes Steinbach play center in the NBA?

I'm really curious about this because he is often mocked anywhere from #10 - #20, and he looks like an agile, oversized power forward who specializes in rebounding.

I feel like he doesn't have a typical center "build". Not enough girth to bang down low. But wouldn't most of his draft stock come from the ability to play the 5?

He isn't a plus rim protector or 3pt shooter. He looks like a transition/pnr play finisher with great rebounding ability at the 4.

Can anyone tell me if he projects to be able to play at the 5?

Whats with the double height thing? Why do we measure barefoot but then all the comments say "omg thats x'xx in shoes!!"

Why don't we just go with barefoot for everything. Easy, standardized measurement.

I find it so weird. And confusing.

The Morez Johnson Jr combine results are legendary, we might be losing a shot at him :(

He is moving quicker than guards and shooting really well in multiple areas

His measurements are ridiculous along with his movement.

The new system being implemented (its confirmed, right?) means that middling teams have far better lottery odds. Even the loser of the 7/8 play in game is in the lottery.

The Raptors are a team that have existed around that tier for a while, and very well *could* exist around there in the near future.

Does this mean the Raptors’ pick value will increase?

For example, if teams project us to finish around 7th in the East next year, we could lose the first play-in game, but win the second and make the playoffs while also earning a lottery pick. That would mean our 2027 frp has become more valuable than previous years.

In contrast, tanking teams’ picks have now decreased in value in comparison to previous years, now that they have worse odds.

Small W for the Raps?

Scottie Barnes at halftime in game 6 vs Cavs: 14 points 3 rebounds 10 assists 1 steal 2 blocks on 50% fg and +11. Raps lead by 10.

Multiple highlight plays in a game he has to carry without Ingram and Quickley.

Primary defensive assignment is James Harden.

Edit: And only 1 turnover.

In about 14 minutes of play pre-injury:

14 points on 6/10 FG and 2/2 FT

2 rebounds

8 assists

2 blocks

+10

When he plays like this it really makes you wonder...
