hi, I'm making this silly little painting based off the reference (slide2). not done with the foreground but preparing myself for the details.

I'm already worried about nailing the "face" because idk how to do such fine black lines with the tools I have. should I invest in a fine tip paint marker?

pls don't judge me too harshly I'm rusty and my paint is OLD. But I will take constructive comments!! TIA!

I pressed some day lilies and many didn't make it. i cut out the pattern of the "stain" they left behind and sketched over them :)
