When the martini comes with a sidecar…

and it has ice cubes in it, am I supposed to dump the whole thing in my martini glass, try to use a fork to strain the ice while pouring it into my martini glass, or drink it straight from the side car (which seems diabolical)? It doesn’t happen often but every time it does I’m at a loss and trying not to look like an idiot.

Foster puppy loose stool concerns

I am currently fostering a 5.5 month old hound/cur mix. We have had her a month and she has not had any health concerns. She’s a little love, sleeps through the night, eats well, has lots of energy.

A week ago we went to an adoption event where she interacted with her sibling (playing/shared water bowl) who I learned later has been having diarrhea and loose stools for weeks. Two days later she began having loose stools, up every two hours through the night. Normal eating and energy. I changed her to chicken and white rice in hopes to help this, added some pumpkin as well. After three days of this I told the rescue, asked if I could drop off a fecal sample. They said to come pick up panacur. My concerns have been dismissed and I’ve been told that diarrhea is common.

She just finished a 3 day course of panacur, had slept through the night so I slowly began reintegrating kibble. Today she had a loose stool with some blood in it. Just looking for some advice since my hands are tied with the ability to take her to a vet unless the rescue okays it.

Thank you for your time.
