Was pretty surprised to find a Classic Newport in original condition like this, including the original grip and shaft band. A little steam cleaning on the headcover embroidering and sewing in some new velcro was all that was needed.

Also gonna be my daily gamer and wanted to try a hockey shaft grip, so put an old shaft and the remains of one of my goalie sticks to good use, while putting the original shaft in storage if I want to put it back to original one day
