hi so I was a summer intern and just received a verbal return offer. but the salary is quite low… lower than average on Glassdoor for my division and lower than what I see for analyst offers on this page.

the actual offer hasn’t arrived yet, so I didn’t ask about negotiating - the recruiter did not ask my salary expectation, just told me the salary outright.

is it possible to negotiate when I receive the offer letter?

maybe the salary is lower because I’m an undergrad campus hire, but still, it’s a bit surprising, especially compared to what other entry level roles for undergrads are offering in the industry.
