Hi All, I am a little confused by the reservation system for Poseidon Thermal Park. First, I was planning on reserving ahead of time but I read here and there it is not necessary, we will be there during the second half of August, is it safe to just show up on the day of during such a busy time of the year? We are only 2. Then, if we do reserve in advance, a few days in advance only ok? I am a bit confused by the website, I see the “thermal park + beach” option but then it asks lower thermal pools, upper, etc and then to “pick” an umbrella kind of like a plane seat map, does it mean we get that specific umbrella and can’t choose where to stay throughout the day? And last, if we have to choose an area, any tips on best area? Thank you! Sorry so many questions I want to do this right!

Hi everyone - we are going to spend 8 nights on Ischia in August and we were thinking of staying in three different places, Forio, Ischia Porto (or maybe Ponte?) and Sant’ Angelo, maybe 3/3/2 nights (TBD) but the more I read about Ischia the more I question whether we should do differently! Would you advise us to stay in two places only instead? If yes, which ones would you pick? We won’t have a car and will rely on public transportation/taxi, I know it is not ideal but no scooter or rental car for us. Access to beaches/water is very important so that’s definitely a factor for us, we are not interested in nightlife but like lively places and would definitely enjoy a few nights in a more quaint relaxing place.
