Replacing Honeywell with Nest - one wire heat and cool
Replacing a Honeywell thermostat where there was one wire in W and one in R. Looks like there was a jump between Rc and R. I installed into W and Rc on nest, but it's only giving heat. If I flip it to Y it gives me cool. Do we have to switch the wire between W and Y depending on which one we're using at any given time or is there a position to control both?
