Watched Practise By Manik Mahna

That man is selling out 8 shows on a 250 seater room in Bangalore on a weekend.

Anyways, to the review. I came with very high expectations. Every time I had praised a comic, people would always say, but have you watched Practise?

So, was it upto my expectations? Well, yes and no.

It exceeded my expectations in writing. It's almost philosophical, the way some stand up comics prove that it is indeed an art form. Manik in my mind is fighting for the top spot. (Sumit on drugs is a beast, difficult to out-write him)

The man has charisma, he is insanely comfortable on the stage. Not in a way, he wants to own it, but in a way, that, the stage with a mic in his hand is his home.

He would make you feel at ease being in the audience, some comics keep you on the edge, he lets you be. However, he would make you look deep within yourself. You would be laughing, but you would also be pondering.

However, it is very loosely structured. Practise, something he has been performing for a while now, I was expecting to be tighter, and I hate to say it. Funnier?

Did I have fun. Absolutely. Would I suggest you go. You definitely should. It is hundred percent worth a watch.

For me it is a solid 7.5/10.

P s. I keep watching a lot of comics, let me know if you guys would be interested in reviews like these.
